Travis Best 6'2" 190 Frankfort, IN (Frankfort High School)  
He averaged 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists as a senior and leading his high school team to a 18-6 record and the state regional finals.  Best shot 52 percent from the field, including 30 percent from the 3 point line, and also hit 75 percent of his free throws.  Is Frankfort's career leader in assists and steals, his 1,463 career points has him third on his schools all-time scoring list.  Was chosen on the AP five-man second team all state squad and the Indianapolis Star's 15 man all state team.  Averaged 21.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 3.0 steals as a junior for Frankfort High.  Received honorable mention All-America selection bye Street and Smith's and was listed amoung the top 200 prep players by Athlon's.  Had 10 points and 12 assists in the Indiana North-South All Star game.  Had 6 points and 3 rebounds in the Derby Festival Clasic All-Star game in Freedom Hall.  Considered Tulane, Indiana State, and Western Carolina before signing with UofL!
